Louie & Ozzie
I recently had the privilege of photographing two delightful Collies, Louie and Ozzie, whose vibrant personalities made this session truly memorable. This photoshoot took place at Apley Woods, a picturesque location that provided an ideal backdrop for capturing their dynamic nature. The natural woodlands allowed the dogs to run, jump, and climb freely, adding an authentic and energetic feel to each shot.
Louie, almost 4 years old, displayed a cheeky, energetic demeanor that shone through in every photo. His lively spirit and playful poses made for some truly captivating images. Whether he was bounding through the woods or striking a pose, Louie's bubbly personality was evident, making it impossible to take a bad photo of him. Ozzie, at just 1 year old, exuded a charming and handsome presence. His mesmerizing blue eyes captured the essence of his sweet and confident nature, making each photograph truly striking.
The owner’s involvement was instrumental in the success of this photoshoot. Her advanced training techniques and close relationship with her dogs were evident throughout the session. Typically, I employ specific tactics to capture pets' attention, but in this case, the dogs' responsiveness to their owner was exceptional. Their ability to focus and ignore distractions, due to their intensive training, was impressive and facilitated the capturing of their unique personalities.
Technically, the session required a combination of patience, skill, and the right equipment to capture the dogs’ lively spirit. The editing process further enhanced these images, highlighting the essence of Louie and Ozzie’s personalities. The final collection of photographs beautifully illustrates the joy, love, and deep connection between the owner and her pets.
